Here at SUE we almost burst with ideas. Ideas that are sometimes crazy, but always come from a good heart.
One of our agency heroes is Weehoo Girl. She’s one piece of explosive and yet highly repressed Knalldrang.
What else can we say that this time the elevator has brought us down; a legend has died. The musical genius Prince is gone.
We have to admit: we talk about food a lot at SUE. To be honest…we actually eat a lot of food too.
Okay, you might be wondering right now – if you’re not a Dutch native speaker – what the hell is MKB?
Another super talented intern has joined the SUE team. We proudly present you: Lucas.
Weren’t we all totally shocked by the unexpected death of David Bowie? We were! Even if you weren’t a huge fan of his music, it is hard to deny his creative genius.
Meet our latest SUE team member: Diane. She is the one that makes sure plannings are kept, budgets are met and you can release a sigh of relief knowing things will turn out allright.
How can you make young people become aware of the work of ‘Doctors without Borders’ in a time when every non-profit fights for attention with tear jerking stories?
For our client ‘Doctors without Borders’ we collaborated with well-know Amsterdam club Lucy and ‘Models at Work’ to organise a special benefit night of which all ticket proceedings were donated to the organization we all have so much respect for.
Some SUE’ers went over to Berlin and visited the Anton Corbijn Retrospective exhibition at C/O Foundation Berlin. Portraying the most stunning black and white photographs which Corbijn has made over the years of well-known bands and singers, writers and thinkers.
We were completely fascinated by the 16 minute documentary on Jadev Payeng, the man who has single handly planted a forest in India and has brought back endangered wild life.
We are very pleased to introduce to you Johnny & Cash: our two pet gold fish. We figured we needed some real life representation of the man we named our agency after.
Mr. Chow is the owner of Michelin star rated restaurants. He originates from China and in this short video you will -next to his funky glasses- be impressed by his energy, his striving for perfection and his philosophies.
For the Dutch Aids Foundation we teamed up with Dog & Pony for design of the packaging of our ‘First World Problem Pills’. The result was a packaging design that was both functional as aesthetical.
Sitting on a cock as I am gay. Did we get your attention? Or do you think this is no joke or seriously lacking a sense of humour?
At SUE we are always very happy if people come visit us. And if they do, we want to treat them well.
This is as good as a New Yorker gets: meet Don Ward the shoeshiner and enjoy his devotion to making shoes shine using his streetwise attitude to attract clients.
Don’t we all know the feeling that you really, really have the urge to tell someone the truth. But then your shyness, upbringing or career takes over from the longing to set things straight? Right!
This 4.33 minute video is just simply so fascinating that you shouldn’t miss seeing it. It is about the astonishing phenomenon how just a small pack of wolves in Yellowstone National Park not only brought back an array of animals in the park, but actually changed the course of its rivers.
If you are just as fascinated as us by human behaviour, you simply have to read the book ‘Nudge’ by Richard Thaler. It is a standard read for everyone who wants to get a deeper human understanding and use it for the good.
We think there’s something special about this video in more than one way. First of all it’s Solomun turning the tables for the legendary Boiler Room sessions.
We thought it was about time that picking the designated driver would become more humane. Someone had to stand up for the introvert, the misfits and the shy ones – who always seem to be drawing the short stick ending up with the boring mineral water at the bar.
We had the great pleasure to collaborate with Boudewijn Bosman a.k.a. ‘De Tekenmongool’. A very talented young Dutch illustrator who helped us develop the brand identity of our Rob Roulette.
It may sound strange that the first book we as a creative agency recommend you to read is called ‘Steal like an Artist’. But we do.
We figured we needed an inspirational office if your job is coming up with solutions for problems. But we also like it when things are just not so obvious.
